Celebrating the 2025 Upper Arlington Alumni Student Ambassadors

Updated: Apr 2

March 27, 2025

As another school year is coming to a close, the Upper Arlington Alumni Association and Education Foundation celebrates the achievements of our six graduating Upper Arlington Alumni Student Ambassadors: Macie, Nick, Amalia, Alberto, Max, and Selis.

These dedicated seniors have spent the past two years bridging the gap between current students and the Upper Arlington Alumni Association and Education Foundation, ensuring that the traditions and spirit of Upper Arlington High School continue to thrive across generations.

The Alumni Student Ambassador program is designed to foster meaningful connections between current students and you, the alumni community. Over their two-year term, ambassadors have the unique opportunity to engage with alumni, represent their school at various events, and encourage lifelong ties to Upper Arlington High School. The program also helps alumni stay engaged with the school and its students, creating a powerful network of support and tradition.

Hear Directly from the Senior Ambassadors

Macie: "Being a part of the Alumni Association has really allowed me to connect with the Upper Arlington community. I have absolutely loved seeing the wondrous paths alumni have taken and it has given me so much inspiration!"

Nick: "'I am honored to be able to work with the UA Alumni Association to represent our student body and the Class of 2025. It has allowed me to connect with our diverse student body and engage in a space where all voices are heard. As a third-generation student at Upper Arlington, I am grateful to be able to follow in my relatives' footsteps and connect them with the current Upper Arlington student body and community. I've enjoyed hearing the stories of alumni, and I am excited to join the remarkable group of alumni in May as a UAHS graduate."

Amalia: “Being a part of the ambassador program has been an honor, to be able to actively represent my district. Most importantly it has given me a voice through leadership opportunities, talking with likeminded students and advocating for different causes in my school.”

Alberto: “The Alumni Ambassador Program has not only demonstrated who we are as Golden Bears, but it has embodied the concept of unity within a community. It has helped unite past alumni, from multiple generations, and current students from Upper Arlington School to work together, learn from each other, and, most importantly, unlock the spirit of Upper Arlington.”

Max: “I have learned just how impressive our student body is. So many students do incredible things that I had no idea about. Also, I have enjoyed learning more about the alumni of Upper Arlington. All of my experiences have been great and I am impressed by what past UA students have achieved.”

Selis: “Serving as an Ambassador has allowed me to engage with the thriving, supportive community of Upper Arlington in an entirely new way. I’ll never forget my experience giving tours of the new high school to interested alums. It felt like a full circle moment for a lot of participants, and they were more than happy to share personal anecdotes and great advice to my fellow Ambassadors and me. UA’s greatest strength lies in its ability to bring people together, and I am proud to play a role in the process!”

A Heartfelt Thank You

To our graduating ambassadors—thank you for your dedication, passion, and commitment. Your impact on the Upper Arlington community will be felt for years to come. Remember, you will always have a home here. Once a Golden Bear, always a Golden Bear!
