The Greensview Elementary Choir took center stage at their magical Winter Concert on December 3rd, showcasing not only their musical talents but also their new, vibrant choir polo shirts—thanks to the generosity of UA+Ed and Friends. These Greensview green polo shirts, funded with help from a 2023 UA+Ed grant, marked the choir's first set of matching uniforms, helping the group look as polished as they sounded. This year, recognizing the choir’s growing number of students, UA+Ed provided an additional grant for 25 more shirts to accommodate the expanding program and spreading Greensview PRIDE.
The Story Behind the Grant
The Greensview 4th and 5th Grade Choir, which meets weekly during school hours, has grown significantly. It now consists of 112 students—a 25% increase in participation since last school year. With every student given the opportunity to be part of this vibrant program, this inclusive choir motivates students to sing, learn choreography, recite their own poetry, and more.
Creating Lasting Impressions
"The new polos have impacted the choir in such a positive way,” said Molly Auseon, Greensview’s beloved music teacher and choir director. "It’s not just about the uniforms; it’s about building a sense of belonging and teamwork. We’re so grateful for the continued support from UA+Ed and Friends."
UA+Ed is proud to support the Greensview Choir and is thankful to Mrs. Auseon, for inspiring students to learn and grow in meaningful ways.
